1Who We Are
InsightfulX (operating under the domain insightfuldhull.com) is a banking, finance and law education platform created for public sector bank employees, banking aspirants, and finance professionals across India.
InsightfulX operates as a sole proprietorship. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDPA"), InsightfulX is the Data Fiduciary responsible for determining the purpose and means of processing your personal data.

2What Data We Collect

3Why We Collect It
Under the DPDPA 2023, we are required to process personal data only for a specified and lawful purpose, with your consent. We collect data for the following specific purposes:
- Responding to enquiries — when you submit a contact or training enquiry form
- Processing bookings — when you book a 1:1 session or purchase a digital product via Topmate or Razorpay
- Sending newsletters — only if you have explicitly subscribed and consented
- Improving the website — anonymous analytics to understand which content is useful
- Legal compliance — maintaining records as required by applicable Indian law
We will never use your data for any purpose other than what is stated above without obtaining fresh consent from you.

All third-party processors are required to handle your data in compliance with applicable data protection laws. We do not transfer your personal data outside India except through the above processors who maintain international data protection standards.
6Data Storage & Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Specifically:
- Our website is served over HTTPS (SSL encrypted)
- Contact form submissions are handled by Formspree's secure servers
- Payment data is processed entirely by Razorpay — we never store card or UPI details
- Email data collected for newsletters is stored in our email service provider's secure servers
Retention Period: We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected. Enquiry emails are retained for 12 months. Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. Transaction records are retained for 7 years as required by Indian financial regulations.
7Cookies & Tracking
Our website may use cookies — small text files stored on your device — to improve your browsing experience. We use the following types:
- Essential Cookies: Required for the website to function. Cannot be disabled.
- Analytics Cookies: Used by Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. These are anonymous and do not identify you personally.

8Your Rights Under DPDPA 2023
The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 grants you the following rights as a Data Principal (the person whose data we process):
Right to Information
Know what personal data we hold about you, the purposes for which it is processed, and who it has been shared with.
Right to Correction
Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data we hold about you.
Right to Erasure
Request deletion of your personal data where it is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected.
Right to Withdraw Consent
Withdraw consent for processing at any time. Withdrawal does not affect lawfulness of prior processing.
Right to Grievance Redressal
Lodge a complaint with us first. If unresolved, approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Right to Nominate
Nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of your death or incapacity.
To exercise any of these rights, please write to us at connect@insightfuldhull.com with the subject line "Data Rights Request". We will respond within 30 days as required under DPDPA 2023.
If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India once it is constituted and operational under the DPDPA 2023 framework.
9Children's Privacy
InsightfulX is intended for adults aged 18 and above — specifically banking professionals and aspirants. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 18.
Under DPDPA 2023, processing of children's data requires verifiable parental consent. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a person under 18, we will delete it immediately. If you believe your child's data has been collected, please contact us immediately at connect@insightfuldhull.com.
10Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make changes:
- The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised
- For material changes, we will notify subscribers via email or a notice on our homepage
- Your continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy
We recommend reviewing this policy periodically. Previous versions are available on request.
